While enjoying a vacation in an island nation, James crashes a local resident to death while drunk. The death penalty in this country is quite strange, where they can duplicate themselves and clone those who will be sentenced to death.

Joining a group of criminals who have often been on death row, James is invited to commit many crimes.

Despite going against his conscience, he sinks deeper and deeper into the abyss of evil that continues to eat away at his soul. Even when he returned to America, he chose to return to the island.

This sci-fi horror film with gore nuances has the main strength in its dark atmosphere, besides its unexpected story. Brandon Cronenberg's imagination was no less high than his father, David Cronenberg, in presenting sadistic horror stories. Once again, Mia Goth appears beautifully in this film, which will be released in January 2023.
